Donor Gives Paul Harris Fellowship to Andy

The
club continues to remember and honor our own.
This week, an anonymous RCMA'er donated a Paul
Harris Fellowship in the name of Rtn. Andres
Buendia. Andy, as we all know him, is stricken
with cancer and undergoing chemotherapy in
Stanford, California. The donor insisted that no
one in the club be aware of his generous gift.
Other club members, led by Rtn. Mike Sy and Romy
Paguyo, started a collection for Andy. The token
amount and the PHF Certificate and Pin are
scheduled to be presented to Andy personally by
Rtn. Mon Mayuga. Mon is scheduled to leave for
the US in early October for a business trip. He
pledged to pass by San Francisco and visit with
Andy, as did Rtn. Romy Paguyo earlier.
Last month, the club received a warm letter of
thanks from Andy, which was published in
Pagkakaisa. We continue to wish Andy the best in
his struggle.
