What Are We In Power For?

Welcome back, everybody! I hope everyone had a restful and safe Holy Week. Its been
quite a break from RCMA two weeks. It was a splendid time to just think and reflect
on the Rotary Year and see what weve done, what we have left to do
Its been an exciting first nine months.
Weve accomplished almost everything we set out to do. The goals were to grow the
membership base and to get contributions to TRF. Those we did and how. The 20 Baby
Rotarians we have that have been so active in the club are really the lifeblood of RCMA in
the years to come.
One key private goal I had is to make sure that the
club is turned over in good hands and is well-positioned for the next Rotary Year. Seeing
the camaraderie and effort everyone put into the 4th Paul Harris Cup was great!
It makes me feel that the new administration of PKC is all set to take over any
time youre ready guys!
Of course, with all the golf over the holiday, there
really wasnt much room for a lot of reflection, so Ill just get off that
memory podium and get on with it.
Now were all ready for the last quarter of the
year. Our focus will be on fellowships and getting to know each other better. To start
off, the RCMA Board will be meeting this year to plan a menu of fellowships for the rest
of the year. These activities will include old standbys like Presidents Cups and
other golf fellowships, Cigar Nights, Quarterly Birthday Bashes, etc., etc.
In addition, were planning a Dual Meet with RC
Angeles Centro and a visit to RC Tsuen Wan in May for their Charity Ball.
Then of course, we cap all this off with a Grand
Sports Night and Turnover in June. That will be the party to end all parties so everyone
should watch out for it.
Today we welcome two excellent golfers for
breakfast, Mr. Brobio and Mr. Villaroman, who will share their golfing experiences with
us. Enjoy your breakfasts, all! |
