Why you like that?
Thoughts from your Club Secretary

The future of our Club under the Presidency of PKC is well underway as evident by the presence of District Officers of DGE Jun Perez.

PE PKC and his team will do everything in their power to bring our Club to greater heights of success. Today, PE PKC will brief our visiting Incoming District Officers the numerous goals that he has set for our Club to attain. I have seen the list and it’s quite long and difficult. Can it be done? Can Tiger Woods be beaten? Yes, just ask Darren Clarke! Can a RCMAer be a District Governor? Yes and it will be soon! Can Coch play decent golf? There are certain limitations in life and this is one of them. Coch is a great lawyer with a big d**k who has contributed greatly to our Club under his Presidency but for him to play decent golf? We may be asking too much for him to do.

The theme for Rotary Year 2000 to 2001 is Create Awareness. Take Action. Our Club has the perfect RCMAer in PE PKC to lead us under the Governorship of Jun Perez. With his size…I’m referring to his height and weight…one will always be quite aware with him around and PE PKC has always been the ‘Take Action’ kind of guy. Nevertheless, PE PKC and his team needs our help…every one of us…from the Baby Rotarians to the Balik Rotarians to the Past Presidents. He needs our help to Create Awareness and Take Action in everything we do. Are you up to it? Tiger Woods has been beaten. A RCMAer will soon be a District Governor. And Coch will eventually play decent golf…miniature golf that is.

There are four more breakfast meetings after today and out of 71 members in our Club; there are 35 members with perfect attendance as of today. Of those 35 members, two stand out since they have attended every breakfast meeting this Rotary Year. These two RCMAers could be linked forever. One is a Past President and the other a protégé. One is a golfer while the other pretends to play. Both are Paul Harris Fellows and both have been honored as Rotarian of the Year. One claims to be the Scrabble King while the other couldn’t get his grammar straight. Both have been Editor of our award winning Club Bulletin, Pagkakaisa. One was recognized for his work while the other gave him the chance. One has a long one while the other, a fat one. Good Luck to both of them.
