What Are We in Power
For?

A very fine "Good morning!" to
Gov. Guiller Tumangan and his Millennium
District Officers who are with us this
morning. Today is our Governor's Visit
and we have prepared a cool (we hope) Dog
and Pony Show for our visitors.
It is probably worth mentioning that this
issue of Pagkakaisa should be a
"keeper." It includes a lot of
information that is helpful reference to
all members and directors, such as the
list of Committees and Members. Note that
since not all members were able to sign
up, I used my executive privilege in
assigning members to committees. So if
you have violent objections to my
choices, just let me know and we can
re-assign you.
Yesterday, the Board of Directors met to
discuss the September Monthly Report and
the October activities. We were also
frantically trying to finish the Power
Point presentation for Governor Guiller.
We hope you all enjoy it.
Don't anyone forget the remaining
activities for October:
October 22 - First Lady Tessa and Dir.
Eugene Go are planning a club Halloween
Party at our house: 17 Farol Street,
Urdaneta Village. Costumes necessary,
guys! And bring your Anns, too!
October 24 - Medical Mission 4 at Bgy.
Magalang in Pampanga. Coordinated by Sec.
Alvin Co, Rtn. Tony Yap and our Rotaract
Club of Pamantasan ng Makati CAS. This
will be a joint MM with our sister club,
RC Angeles Centro. Lunch will be provided
by TIPCO, who will then take us all on a
Plant Tour. Once again, Anns and family
invited.
October 29 - President's Cup 4 at The
Country Club, c/o Dindo "The
Butcher" Litonjua and Baby Rotarian
Rico Tan. What more needs to be said?
October 29 Dinner - PP Tony Laurel's Hole
in One Blow out at Panciteria San
Jacinto, #20 President's Avenue on Sucat
Road (see map elsewhere in this issue of
Pagkakaisa). How convenient!
